# How to add a proxy in Dolphin {anty}

There are several ways to add a proxy in Dolphin ⬇️

- When **creating a profile**
- When **editing a profile**
- Edit or add a proxy on the **Proxy** screen
- Add/edit proxies in bulk via the **Bulk Profile Control Panel (available on paid plans only)**

## Adding while **creating or editing a profile**

You can **read** about the process of **creating a** profile [here](https://docs.dolphin-anty.com/en/working-with-profiles/creating-and-editing-profiles-in-dolphin-anty#creating-and-editing-profiles-in-dolphin-anty).

<Image src="https://blob-cdn.documentation.ai/org-b2f37710-00c3-4887-bdd3-fa9df0f7d2f5/doc-fc6e4dd8-a218-43a3-a43e-fb5a676252ba/1777552938125-lr9184wut-create-prof-proxy-eng.gif?fm=auto&auto=compress%2Cformat" width="1200" height="710" alt="" priority={true} fetchPriority="high" />

First, you need to select **"New Proxy" and** then enter the proxy in one of the supported input formats ⬇️.

- _host:port_
- _host:port:login:password_
- _login:password\@host:port_

In addition, to the left of any proxy, you can specify the **TYPE of** proxy, for example ⬇️

- `http://192.168.0.1:8000`
- `socks5://login:password@192.168.0.1:8000`
- `socks4://192.168.0.1:8000:login:password`

  After entering, you can click on the arrows on the right edge of the line to check their connection, geolocation, and time zone. \
  \
  There is also an input line **"Link to change IP"**. If you have rotational proxies, then after inserting the link that is given when buying such proxies - the IP change button appears on the profiles screen.
</Callout>

Or if proxies have been added before, you can select from the list of **created proxies**.

## Adding via the "Proxy" screen

The process is exactly the same, you just need to click on the **"Add Proxy"** button in the center of the screen, or on the top right near the search bar, and repeat the process described above.

## Edit or add proxies on one profile

On the "Browser Profiles" screen, you need to find the **"Proxy"** column and then, to the right of its name, click on the **pencil**, and then, similar to the previous option, you can add or edit a proxy by selecting 1 of 3 options ⬇️.

- No proxy
- New proxy
- Select a proxy **(if you have created one before)**

<Image src="https://blob-cdn.documentation.ai/org-b2f37710-00c3-4887-bdd3-fa9df0f7d2f5/doc-fc6e4dd8-a218-43a3-a43e-fb5a676252ba/1777552942212-324i3dnv475-proxy-edit-home-eng.gif?fm=auto&auto=compress%2Cformat" width="1200" height="710" alt="" />

**No proxy column, what to do?**
You need to add a column by clicking **"Customize columns"** here you can select all the columns you need for convenience or remove unnecessary columns.

## Mass edit or add proxies to profiles

<Callout kind="alert" collapsed="false">
  **This functionality is available only on paid tariffs**
</Callout>

1. You just need to select **by checkbox the** profiles on which you want to change the proxy
2. In the action bar that appears at the bottom, click **"Change Proxy"**
3. By analogy with the options described above:
   **No proxy** - remove proxies from profiles
   **New proxy** - add proxies to selected profiles
   **Select proxy** - set previously created proxy.

4. If needed, you can **randomize the proxy selection.**\
   To do this, select **"Random"** and decide whether only verified proxies with the **"Working"** status will be used, or all proxies (status **"Unknown"**).

## How to delete a proxy 🗑️

It's important to distinguish between two actions ⬇️

**Remove a proxy from a profile.** If you want the profile to run without a proxy, just set the value to **"No proxy"** when editing the profile (as described above). The proxy itself stays in your saved list and can be assigned again later.

**Delete a proxy completely.** If you no longer need the proxy, go to the **"Proxy"** screen, select the proxy **by checkbox**, and click **"Delete"** on the **blue action bar** that appears.
