# Digital fingerprint and profile settings in Dolphin {anty}

To work in multiple accounts on the same resource, you need to swap your fingerprint, which is a set of device and browser data. 🌐
That's exactly what **Dolphin&#123;anty} 🐬** is for.

Below is a description of what data can be spoofed using Antic, what it even means and why you need it ⬇️

# 🖥️ What Dolphin &#123;anty} spoofs?

**Dolphin&#123;anty}** spoofs more than 20 device and browser parameters.
Specifically:

  <Expandable title="OS" default-open="false">
    This choice of operating system is very important, as it is undesirable to work with another OS different from yours. Each platform has its own fonts. And through Canvas you can determine the platform, it affects: fonts, drivers, hardware. It is not safe for all sites, there are sites that do not look at this, but look at the version given by **Dolphin&#123;anty}**.\\

      **Important:**&#x20;
      You can choose the operating system only when creating a profile. After that, it can't be changed. The only remaining option will be for Windows: 10 or 11.

  <Expandable title="Useragent" default-open="false">
    This is a client application identifier containing data about the operating system, its version and browser version. We recommend using useragents generated by **Dolphin&#123;anty}** rather than those provided by account sellers.

    **Useragent** helps display site data correctly and allows you to recognize **your** device and browser for online identification.

    <Image src="https://blob-cdn.documentation.ai/org-b2f37710-00c3-4887-bdd3-fa9df0f7d2f5/doc-fc6e4dd8-a218-43a3-a43e-fb5a676252ba/1777552698022-n7xtr6opk6-image.png?fm=auto&auto=compress%2Cformat" width="1420" height="226" alt="" priority={true} fetchPriority="high" />

    ❗️ **Important:** modern browsers use fewer unique useragents, and there is now one UA for each operating system. We offer useragents collected from tens of thousands of real users. Updates to useragents come from Chrome developers, not us. Also remember that there are many other profile settings in our browser besides UA.

    **Using old useragents** may lead to incompatibility with the current version of the browser and site detection. Therefore, it is better to use our updated useragents.

    This is one of the main parameters that even the simplest antifraud systems analyze. The antifraud system of any website gets information about the geolocation of the connection and the provider. To change your IP address and be as similar to a normal user as possible, use quality **proxies**. All popular anti-detection browsers are compatible with any kind of proxy. For example, this is what the window for adding a proxy looks like when creating a profile in **Dolphin&#123;anty}**:

    <Image src="https://blob-cdn.documentation.ai/org-b2f37710-00c3-4887-bdd3-fa9df0f7d2f5/doc-fc6e4dd8-a218-43a3-a43e-fb5a676252ba/1777552700678-rjbx0g5qjke---------------2024-08-30---15_41_38.png?fm=auto&auto=compress%2Cformat" width="2624" height="1624" alt="" />

    ❗️With this option can show your real IP address, even if you use a proxy.

    In **Dolphin&#123;anty}** you can choose one of these options ⬇️

    1. **Off** - completely disables WebRTC **(not recommended)**
    2. **Real** - ignores proxies and uses the IP of the connection.
    3. **Without UDP** – disables non-proxied UDP traffic, which helps protect against IP leaks.
    4. **Altered -** the IP address value with the IP address of the proxy
    5. **Manual** - allows you to specify the desired WebRTC IP.

    It is a JavaScript web technology that allows 2D and 3D graphics to be rendered in the browser using the device's graphics card. WebGL works in conjunction with HTML5, which is used to display graphics.

    Web sites can use WebGL for device fingerprinting.

    **Options** ⬇️

    **1) Off** - completely disables this technology, **be careful with this setting.**

    **2) Noise** - when a site tries to get information about WebGL parameters, **Dolphin&#123;anty}** generates a _"noise"_ value for that parameter that is as close to the real one as possible, but is not and is passed to the site.

    <Image src="https://blob-cdn.documentation.ai/org-b2f37710-00c3-4887-bdd3-fa9df0f7d2f5/doc-fc6e4dd8-a218-43a3-a43e-fb5a676252ba/1777552705090-zgn8nynxeq-image.png?fm=auto&auto=compress%2Cformat" width="668" height="170" alt="" />

    **ℹ️ Recommendation**
    Don't be afraid to set **WebGL (and also Canvas)** in real mode, because there are not many **Canvas** and **WebGL** values in the world. If you take **WebGL**, it is cut on the basis of video cards, and a series of certain models of video cards will be the same, so **WebGL** will be the same.

  <Expandable title="WebGL info" default-open="false">

    **Options** ⬇️

    1. **Real** - values will be taken from the device on which the profile is created or opened, i.e. when logging in from different devices these values will change, which may not be safe.
    2. **Manual -** allows you to specify specific values from a list. Only graphics cards compatible with the selected OS are shown in the list, see **"Hardware compatibility"** below for details.

    <Image src="https://blob-cdn.documentation.ai/org-b2f37710-00c3-4887-bdd3-fa9df0f7d2f5/doc-fc6e4dd8-a218-43a3-a43e-fb5a676252ba/1777552708262-t764vmznxy-image.png?fm=auto&auto=compress%2Cformat" width="1296" height="268" alt="" />

    ℹ️ **Good to know:** when a profile is created, the antidetect assigns random **Vendor** and **Renderer** values, but you can change them manually. Thanks to this, profiles with real values and real hashes stay different from each other, even if they match on all other parameters. More on this in the "General recommendation" below.

  <Expandable title="Сanvas" default-open="false">
    This is an HTML5 API technology used to render 2D graphics and animations on a web page. It allows graphics to be rendered dynamically using JavaScript. When using Canvas to create graphics, the browser can get a unique fingerprint based on system parameters such as operating system and video card. Although Canvas fingerprints can overlap between different users with the same OS and video card.

    **Options** ⬇️

    - **Real -** set by default, as it is the most correct value for sites
    - **Off** - completely disables this technology, be careful with this setting.
    - **Noise** - when a site tries to get information about the Canvas hash, **Dolphin&#123;anty}** generates a noise value of this parameter that is as close to the real one as possible, but is not and passes it to the site. The noise on Canvas essentially makes the profile unique, and the checker thinks this is odd and sees the spoofing. It is convenient for working with different profiles, since the same noise value is created on 1 browser profile and assigned to it.

    <Image src="https://blob-cdn.documentation.ai/org-b2f37710-00c3-4887-bdd3-fa9df0f7d2f5/doc-fc6e4dd8-a218-43a3-a43e-fb5a676252ba/1777552710849-0fjzz4tuj74l-image.png?fm=auto&auto=compress%2Cformat" width="648" height="178" alt="" />

    ❗️ This technology creates and defines an area to create an image. This element is used to display various charts, animations, game, graphics, etc. Canvas is not a unique parameter and can be repeated among users. Therefore, if you need to mimic a normal user's fingerprint, it is generally recommended by browser developers NOT to change this parameter.

If you disable hardware-accelerated features such as WebGL or WebGPU, some websites may be adversely affected because these technologies are used in browsers to render graphics.

    **Options** ⬇️

    1. **Off** - disables this parameter, but for the current browser kernel it can badly affect the work of some sites _(as in the usual chrome this parameter is enabled)_, if you **are** sure that the parameter **is not necessary** for the work of the desired site, you can turn it off.

    **2) On** - there are two dependencies of the parameter:
    **If Webgl info is"real"** - then the real device fingerprint will be displayed in both **Webgl info** and **WebGPU**
    **If Webgl info is "manual" and WebGPU is in Real state,** then the browser will start creating spoofs in the browser by this parameter.

    **Options** ⬇️

    The speed of operation **will not** differ. In theory, of course, this is possible, for example: a site-utility for file compression, it looks at the number of cores, then the site will run processes on the number of cores installed, if 2 cores are installed, will run on 2 threads. # 🧩 Hardware compatibility

In real life, there is no such thing as, for example, a macOS computer with an Apple M1 processor and an NVIDIA graphics card. Anti-fraud systems notice such mismatches between the OS, graphics card, processor and memory and can use them to identify a profile.

That's why **Dolphin&#123;anty}** makes sure the hardware in a profile looks realistic: all parameters are checked against a table of real-world configurations.

**How it works ⬇️**

1. You choose the **OS** - the graphics card list (**WebGL info**) keeps only the options that fit it.
2. You choose the **graphics card** - the CPU architecture is set on its own (ARM for Apple, x86 for the rest).
3. **Processor cores** and **memory** are linked to each other: once you choose the number of cores, the memory list keeps only matching values, and vice versa.

Incompatible options are simply not shown in the lists, so it's impossible to build a configuration that doesn't exist. This works everywhere the fingerprint is configured: when creating and editing a profile, in bulk import and smart import, and in profile templates.

  💡 **Existing profiles** keep working as before. If a profile has incompatible hardware, a window about incorrect browser fingerprint settings will appear when you open it for editing, and the corrected values will already be filled in. **"Save"** writes the new values, **"Cancel"** leaves the profile as it is.

  When you copy such a profile, the copies are created with corrected hardware, and **the original profile is updated too**.

  Profiles where these parameters are set to **"Random"** or **"Off"** are not affected.

# 🤔 Why you need spoof fingerprint ?

Fingerprint spoofing may be required for different tasks:

- **Online anonymity**. For example, to protect one's data from systems that collect user data in order to identify them later.
- **Imitation of ordinary user data.** It is important not to confuse anonymity with imitation. In the first case, the program hides your real data. In the second case, the program substitutes data so that you do not stand out among millions of ordinary users and do not attract the attention of anti-fraud systems. To do this, the fingerprint must not be unique, but similar to other fingerprints. It is the latter task that is more difficult.
- **Simultaneous work with dozens of accounts of one site**. For example, for betting, working with social networks, running advertising, etc.
- **Visiting blocked resources.**
- **Testing.** For example, if you need to test the site's performance with connections from different countries or with different browser settings.

# ℹ️ General recommendation

- Do not make too unique a fingerprint, it is desirable not to put noises because the user becomes too unique and can be detected by the principle - "a white crow among a pack of blacks". The task of an anti-detect browser is to disguise the user so that he can be recognized as any other user, so too unique fingerprint can stand out and it will lead to blocking.

Profiles can match on all parameters with real values and real hashes - and that's fine. Each profile here is created with different **Vendor** and **Renderer** values, and if different proxies are also connected to them, there won't be any problems. The goal is to blend in with the crowd, not to make each profile unique: the more unique a profile is, the higher the chance of a block.
